While Bakugou technically hasn't said he likes him in the same account as how he did, going off on ledge here, it would sound like you don't just tell someone these certain things unless there was some level of attraction.

At least for Bakugou, since the guy usually will say whatever is on his mind any other day.

But oh, a new message. And look at that, he knew Bakugou didn't absolutely hate his life during remedial lessons.]

[There is more to it, he just can't admit it yet - he can't admit that he thought he was off Todoroki's radar, that he was just a sassy peer who he wanted to beat, that there's some mess of feelings somewhere in this and Bakugou can't admit he has insecurities as well. [To be fair, that radar is pretty much non-existent, since Shouto never really considered anything past a one-sided interest. Just to have friends feels like a huge jump into a pool of unknowns, let alone to explore how he feels about Bakugou. But despite that, he's an honest person, almost too much, along with a social repression that seems to steam away any shame most would feel in being up front like he is.] I didn't really think that far ahead. [Blowing it off sounds like a waste of potential, at least for a "what could be" possibility. Then again, he's not sure how much this like is going, in both directions. Maybe Bakugou only sees it as far as you can physically throw it? He can't really pinpoint how deep his like goes, other than that he would like to be closer to Bakugou, and to maybe have some kind of contact. The idea of kissing him has its own appeals, but maybe he's getting ahead of himself...]

There's a noodle place on the way back from lessons.

[It's the best he has off the top of his head, because even just deciding to spend time together leaves Bakugou almost antsy when he knows there's nothing he can do about it right now. He isn't sure still of just how to go about this but... eating out is a common enough thing.]

[It's a start. For the two of them, it probably wouldn't hurt playing things safe, especially after the hectic half of year already. The interest is there at the very least, it's just to figure out what to do with it.]
